ARRIVAL - DAY ZERO
On our guided tours we ask guests to arrive at least the day before, earlier if possible to get over any jet lag and be in Christchurch ready for day one. Your accommodation the night before the tour starts is free of charge, we'll advise you where you're staying and we will see you in the morning to complete your paper work and introduce you to your bike.

OVERVIEW
For those of you that want to experience the North Island but don't want to start from Auckland, New Zealands busiest city, this 10 day New Zealand motorcycle tour takes you from the more sedate Christchurch 'The Garden City' up the east coast and promptly up to the North Island. This motorcycle tour follows the tail end of our longer 22 day tour, but still allows you to experience Christchurch, Kaikoura and the beautiful water crossing from Picton to Wellington via the Marlborough Sounds.
Working your way from Wellington, New Zealands capital city, you will travel to the Art Deco capital of Napier, followed by the wonderous Thermal Highway which whisks you away to the town of Rotorua, known for it's Maori cultural heritage and thermal activity.
The Coromandel is one of the great motorcycle hot spots of the North Island where you'll be travelling to Auckland, NZs Largest city, but you won't be in the hustle and bustle for long as the Bay of Islands awaits with a day off to enjoy more local rides, history, culture, relaxation or water sports.
Ending in Auckland you'll be glad you chose South Pacific Motorcycle Tours, you'll feel relaxed and refreshed, wondering how you can stay for a little longer.
You'll be leisurely travelling around 3500 kms in total. (+ 2 optional non-riding days).
