PLUS a plan uniquely designed just for you incorporating your interests, tastes, preferences, special requests. Maybe you're on honeymoon or have a must-do destination - we are the motorcycle tour company that really listens and makes your journey an experience of a lifetime. Leave all the worrying to us the experts. South Pacific Motorcycle Tours, with it's base and workshop facilities in Christchurch in the Beautiful South, will guarantee you the best motorcycling experience you've ever had. That's the only problem, after this nothing will compare.
There are two levels of accommodation to choose from:
Kiwi Classic tours - Qualmark rated 3/4 Star motel or motor lodge style accommodation (breakfast not included but always available either on-site or nearby)
Supreme tours - Qualmark rated 4/5 Star Superior Hotel, Lodge or Luxury Bed & Breakfast (or a mix of all three!) accommodation with a full hot and cold breakfast each morning.

This is a short but wonderful 5 day jaunt around the top of the South Island of New Zealand and the motorcycling is just great. No dual-carriageways, no traffic lights, just mile upon mile of sweeps, bends, twist and turns to keep the adrenalin pumping all day. Enjoy riding the Alpine Pacific Triangle through the wine valleys of North Canterbury to the Marlborough Sounds, stopping to see our magnificent whales and other marine wildlife on the way. The sunny city of Nelson enjoys more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in New Zealand. Relax on the idyllic beaches or ride on to discover the awesome Abel Tasman region. Then it's a superb blast over the legendary Lewis Pass to a sleepy Thermal Alpine village in the mountains for a soak in open-air thermal hot pools before heading back across the sheep-studded Canterbury plains to Christchurch. |

The South Island of New Zealand has undoubtedly some of the best motorcycling roads in the world, and in seven days we will show you them all. Breath-taking mountain passes, over the highest tar-sealed road in New Zealand, Mount Cook, Lake Tekapo, and Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world! You would think that motorcycling couldn't get any better, until you discover the wild and wickedly fantastic West Coast, an underdeveloped and isolated region like no other in the world, with ancient rain-forests, road-side waterfalls, and glaciers that uniquely terminate so close to the Tasman Sea. A soak in open-air thermal hot springs, some wine-tasting at award-winning wineries, and the easy riding of the Canterbury plains are the only things that can bring you back down to earth. That's the only disadvantage - after this no motorcycle tour will compare. |

Our 17 day tour covers the entire South Island ride pretty much every great motorcycling road in New Zealands South Island and visit all the hot spots. Haast Pass, Arthurs Pass and the Lewis Pass are the main motorcycle highlights of New Zealand and you'll be riding all three. No one offers all of this and the time to enjoy and savour each location. |
