South Pacific Motorcycle Tours is a highly professional, dedicated New Zealand family business, owner operated by Carole and Mike Lester, managed by Simon Jamieson, and run with other members of the team including Hayley, Kim, Ian and Jim. Specialising in all things motorbike - personal tours, New Zealand motorcycle hire and Harley-Davidson rides.
Mike Lester - Senior Tour Guide Leader & Managing Director
Mike is the company director and an extremely experienced, professional motorcyclist and tour guide with superb inter-personal skills and a great sense of humour. He is I.A.M. trained (Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists) and has been leading New Zealand motorcycle tours for many years. Mike's vast knowledge of all the best biking roads will ensure the most awesome guided motorcycle vacation you've ever had.
Carole Lester - Tour Guide & Itineraries Manager
Carole is our motorcycle tour itinerary guru and spends hours creating personal self guided tours and designing fully guided tours to perfection. Carole also researches the very best accommodation to suit clients particular needs, from a modest motel to a luxury secluded lodge.
Simon Jamieson - Tour Guide Leader & Operations Manager
Simon, Mike & Caroles son-in-law, is a young, vibrant tour guide with a great spirit of adventure. He's a superb bike rider, always keen to show off his riding skills. Combined with his attention to detail, and ability to make everyone feel happy all the time, Simon will make your vacation fun and hassle free. Simon ensures that all the bikes are maintained in tip-top condition, he is also a very keen photographer, videographer, is mad about wildlife, nature and keeping New Zealand clean and green.
In recognition of our responsibility to the environment and to further enhance the quality of our service, we are endorsed as Kiwi Green Certified, using only eco-friendly products in our cleaning. We're also able to offer the facility of offsetting your carbon travel footprint with the Kiwi Green native tree regeneration programme..

Where are we?
Base consists of two acres of countryside close to Christchurch in the South Island NZ, there are garages filled with a full stable of motorcycles for nz motorbike rentals, gardens, cats, dogs and a superb large colonial homestead-style lodge. Regardless of whether you're just hiring, or on a guided tour, you'll leave feeling fully satisfied with newly-found friends, superb hospitality, and extremely comfortable accommodation. A superior service, but with a 'no worries' care-free atmosphere.
