Honda VFR 800, named bike of the year by bike world and winning various awards I'm a great sports tourer.  Since my ground-breaking debut in 1983 as a cutting-edge sportbike, the VFR has been steadily softened and rounded in subsequent generations from its original hard-core premise, while other Honda models took up the all-out performance corporate sword.

With my Programme fuel injection even if there is a cold night in the mountains, come morning, turn the key and push the button and i’ll start purring away without any hiccups. My exhaust note at low rpm is so quiet it’s difficult to hear it running, keeping it inline with its now upper class status.

If you’re after something fun and sporty to ride New Zealand on, the VFR is certainly the bike for you, I'm much easier to handle than a Pan or an RT and can carry just as much luggage.
