The Triumph Tiger 800 is an amazing motorcycle that holds the same engine as the Street Triple 675 retaining the same stroke but increasing the bore to make it the 799cc it is today. Put this fantastic engine into a dual purpose frame and you have given birth to an amazingly fun yet friendly go anywhere touring machine. It has all the all-round practicality and comfort of the larger 1050 Tiger – but has the added benefit of being lighter and more nimble without sacrificing luggage space and rider/ pillion comfort. This bike also has a sporting ability that few, if any, will be able to match and is raved about accross the world. Try something different that we've known about for years, try a Triumph. Fuel capacity is 19 litres, giving an excellent touring range. Supremely comfortable, two-up tourer; sporty solo funster or sleek, stylish city bike: In our opinion this is a great touring bike for New Zealand, light, nimble, fun, can go the distance and do it in comfort and style. |
