Trip of a lifetime! 
When talking with a former work colleague about my intention to do a motorbike tour in New Zealand he did not hesitate to recommend South Pacific Motorcycles. Carole, Kim and Hayley were so responsive to my every need and request when planning my trip and the itinerary. Upon arrival at SPM I was up and on my bike within an hour and on the road, after bike checks and safety briefings. The BMW GS F700 was fantastic and perfect for the roads.
It really makes a huge difference to be able to personalize a trip and be actively involved in all the options and it makes things so easy to pay once for bike, B&Bs and activities up front.
SPMT checked up every couple of days to ensure everything was to my satisfaction and also to inform of ant weather warnings or re-rerouting that might be required.
A fantastic 2,700km tour of the South Island and many memories to take home with me.

Following previous two-up motorbike tours including the USA, most of Eastern Australia &Tasmania, we had always planned for a NZ tour at some time to experience for ourselves the wonderful scenery, places to visit and the terrific bike roads that we had heard about over the years.
....And wow....that place and the people are absolutely amazing in every aspect, - the tour was everything we had hoped for, - and more - exceeding our expectations....just perfect.
And we would HIGHLY recommend to anyone considering a bike tour anywhere to put NZ at the top of the list, and certainly to arrange it with South Pacific!

Utterly Fantastic! The tour was so well organized, from the moment of inquiry until the flight out of Christchurch. The whole crew was gracious, accommodating, resourceful, with over the top customer service. We experienced New Zealand from the tops of 2 BMW 800's. It was phenomenal, to say the least. Even with 6 out of 12 days with rain, it didn't matter, we were in NZ! The self guided GPS tour was amazingly accurate and the excursions, plus places to stop and eat, well, there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. Highly recommended to all who ride.

Well, all you folks looking around now for the right motorcycle touring outfit in NZ can just sign on with SPMT. We were there last Jan-Feb and the folks at SPMT are the best. They do what they promise and provided excellent 1200RTs. Our trip of a lifetime was a success in a large part due to these great folks. We just rented and rode our own tour with their advice. From the moment we contacted SPMT with an enquiry, to the end of our 14 Day GPS tour the communications were fantastic - everything went like clockwork and the team at SPMT were amazing.
